How did time speed up?

Time seems to speed up here and I'm now 35 weeks and 35 days out. YIKES! It's all getting to be really real and I'm really uncomfortable most of the time. I'm trying my best to put a smile on my face and remember that soon the little one will be here.

How far along? 35 weeks

Total weight gain: I stopped counting but I must be up 25 lbs.

Symptoms: Heartburn and lack of real sleep.

Stretch marks: Yes - boo, hiss.

Sleep: I miss falling asleep and staying asleep - I also don't care for shifting side to side because my hips are fall asleep. Overall - - as long as I don't drink lots of water late at night - - I don't pee every 2 seconds. (same)

Food cravings: Cereal for every meal. And lately peppermints which I loathed when not pregnant.

Maternity clothes: Mix and match for the most part but pants are becoming an issue. Thinking I'll pick up a coat too since the one from last year totally doesn't fit anymore. :(

Best moment of the week: Getting to this point to be honest.

Movement: this kid loves to move around - especially late at night. I also love the fact that if I push, the kid kicks me back.

Gender: Waiting until December.

Labor Signs: A few BH but nothing too nutty yet.

Belly Button: struggling to stay in but there.

What I miss: Beer. always beer. Oh, and running. And let's add bending over with ease. And today let's add good sleep - including on my stomach. (amen)

What I am looking forward to: our ultrasound next week. I want to see the butter bean that keeps kicking me. :)

Dear Bean -
The days are all running together and you'll be here before we know it. Your daddy is getting so excited about your arrival and I'm trying to get past the thoughts of birthing you. :) I know things are getting a little cramped in there, but could you please stop beating up your mama? 35 more days unless you decide to surprise us with an early delivery. Can you please do me one favor? Please don't come when your daddy is in Aruba. I really want him in town when you come into this world. Love, Mama.
