2010 rewind

Hard to believe that we are in January and the baby is here - so I thought I would recap 2010 before 2011 is over. :)

January 2010 - we sold out townhome and got to packing. We were so happy that after being on the market for 2 years, we were going to move.

Febuary 2010 - Valentines Day, the movers came and moved us uptown. We decided to rent a cute 2 bed/2 bath duplex in my old neighborhood from 10 years before. I loved everything about this day. It was a new beginning.

March 2010 - We decided to start trying for a baby.

April 2010 - Surprise, we got pregnant. :) We decided to not find out what we were having. We told the family and six weeks into the pregnancy, I got really sick.

May 2010 - Our 2 year anniversary came and went. I had 2 visits to the ER from extreme vomiting thanks to the bean. I remember spending most of the weekends in bed just sleeping.

June 2010 - Our late trip to Asheville, NC to celebrate our anniversary. We went out to dinner, saw a concert and just enjoyed spending time together without any vomiting nonsense.

July 2010 - We went to Canada (finally). What an awesome trip. I loved it up there and so excited to think about going back and taking the bean. She is going to love it up there! I ate my way through the countryside - fish, cotton candy, ice cream and we also traveled by car to see almost all of the hubs family. I will also treasure that trip.

August and September 2010 - The hubs got a promotion and traveled for work to PR.

October 2010 - Our baby shower. It was so nice to spend time with all our friends and family.

November 2010 - We started finally working on the nursery and the hubs traveled to Aruba. We also had our first Thanksgiving we hosted for the in-laws and also took a babymoon as our last weekend away as just the two of us.

December 2010 - Even though my OB said the bean would be early, the bean came four days past her due date. We spent the holidays in a blur, but got to see family which was the best part of the season.

All in all, 2010 was a really great year for us. I know I am looking forward to 2011 and all that it brings for our little family. Here's to the new year. :)
