A New Start

2008 was a pretty crappy year. Jobs came and went, a planned cross-country move fell through, and well, the economy tanked. The only good thing that came out of 2008, was our wedding. Marriage has been a good lesson for the both of us. We lean on it, count on it and even call it the glue that holds us together when everything else goes to h-e-double-hockey-stick in a hand basket. So as much as there was a little moment of happiness, I am happy to report that I could not be any happier that we can put 2008 behind and take on 2009 with a hope for change.

With that, here's a list of resolutions that I would like to propose for 2009.
In no particular order and could be read as a wish list of sorts:
* Sell our home
* Run a few races
* Lose a few pounds
* Work on my organizational skills
* Return calls in a timely manner
* Walk the dogs more
* Travel, even if it means just up the street
* Save more, spend less

Out with the old and in with the new. Welcome 2009 - we've been waiting for you.
